it has certainly been a hectic week. i cant believe i do not have the time to blog. maybe i do actually have the time.....but by the time i reached home...i am just too shagged to do anything. anything at all besides sleeping. well...u dun exactly need energy to sleep. sleep just happens.lets see. MPS as usual on tues. i left the office at 1230am!the number of residents is increasing. while there are some needy cases which need utmost attention..there are some which need to be dismissed. HDB policies need to be revamped. to suit the needy who really need to sell off their flat to pay off all arrears. but too bad. the policy remains standing at those who sold their flat will be debarred from renting a HDB flat for 30 months. and...they are not eligible for a housing loan if they are to buy a smaller house. policies can really make this people be stucked in a vicious cycle. so much OB markers. so much red tape. residents have to go through so many procedures just to appeal for a little.while some pple take the trouble...there are those who simply sit down and WHISTLE for help.MP gives some cash for the children to go to school. u simply use the money and go to JB and buy cigarettes. wat kind of a parent are you. u tell the social worker that you have children who are in special school...and the social worker gives you some help...and you use the money for your own pleasure. gosh.who do you think your children are?? baits?? n for those parents whose children receive the annual edusave bursaries / scholarships. please think. use the money to settle school fees. and not your own credit card arrears. these kind of cases sometimes can make me feel so frustrated. yes. *dear maly...you should not be so emotionally attached* but tell me. how can i not? when i see their children's future in hands so malleable. in hands so selfish. are these parents really thinking about them? about their children? scary. and to think i am excited to get married n have children. can i even be a good parent? hur hur. not even that good a child to my parents. still lacking in bits and pieces. what constitutes being a good child? when ur parents are happy? or when the child is happy himself? *i dunno*and then on Wed, i attended Community Development Feedback Session at mcys. well...its a good session i must say. very informal. and very straightforward. pple from diverse backgrounds. and diverse ages. and diverse careers. the arguments put forth force you to put away your guards and just let it out. i like it. and i think i shall attend more of it. and no. i am not affiliated to any govt agencies or political parties. haha. i started work at 9am. work ends at 5pm. feedback sessions started at 630. and ends at 10pm. and i reached home at 11pm.and on thur...work as per normal. then i got FOC meeting. which ended at 1030pm. haha! i love FOC. it tests my bird's eye view of things. which i lack quite a bit and it is most needed. we are facing problems but it just small details that need to be acted upon fast. and the team has GREAT camaraderie. haha! love you guys to bits!!!!!!!! come visit our camp REPERIO website!! and to all incoming JUNIORS! come on in and hitch a ride with us before you embark on ur exciting journey in varsity!n there. i feel much better after blogging. simply because. :)
