hey people of the nation. i have just finished my second exam paper of the semester. EN3227, romanticism. OH WELL. it was okay. as usual. i can never seem to finish my lit essays. but i guess, i should have gotten all the necessary things down on paper. but gosh. the room was damn cold ah! i think my brain did freeze awhile. but alhamdulillah. i don't think i did the same mistakes as i did for my term paper. but then again, if only i have more time, i should have been able to construct my argument better. but it is ok... i'll just pray that all would be fine and that i will work on my other papers instead. **see...maly constructing her own self-consolation** haha! oh well. i realise that LIT is an evergreen subject. you wanna know why? i mean...i realise that each time i reread my text, i always find new things to talk about. new perspectives to see and comment on. and new themes to work on. it is as if the books i read have so much secrets in them that they keep giving me bit by bit...it is like magic. the joy of literature. yeah...bid me crazy but i think it is true. it is just that, if i am forced to complete 21 books in 3 months...boy. Am i lucky to even finish ALL the books just once. AH! and one more thing...don't you think that if we are forever asking questions, we will forever be young...we will be a child always? i thought about this while doing my paper just now. if one day we stop asking questions, that means that we are...so -called...complete, aren't we? AND...when we reach into adulthood and we try to ask questions....and all that we can answer is this..."because life is just like that"....and when that happens, don't harbour the thought of being a child anymore. we are just going to be usurped with jadedness. and once we are jaded...we are not excited anymore... and once we are not excited anymore...that is when our souls will slowly diminish into meaninglessness...
and when that happens...what is the use of being alive then...
