i observe that my blog entries have been too self-indulgent these days. too much on the self. too ego-centric. blog is an outlet. the outlet. almost a whole life story in the cyber world. complete with half-truths. incomplete words. half-believed hopes. oh well. who says that any life is at all synchronized.i'll be having exams on thursday, friday, saturday, monday. i suspect that my best papers will be EN3227, and the two GEMS. i hope to score at least 2 A-grades. insya'Allah. hiyah....but The Body module...that is going to be challenging. i know i have said this many a time before. handling 3 lit modules is not easy man....with 21 books/texts to read... i cant even have time for any leisure reading of nonsense..like...Archie Comics. ERGH. they should have a COMIC LITERATURE module. where we will critically analyse the use of graphics and how effective is its accompaniment with the literary content. but oh well. *there i go again...self-centered post*anyway..i wanna comment something. i observe that the higher i go in my pursuit for education, the more questions i have to face with. the world is now viewed in a much more different light. oh how i miss my primary school days where science is just about solid, liquid and gases and tastebuds. i realize that, certain terms are just being so OVERLY used that their meanings have quickly dissolved. one good word is NIAT. now in university, and as i grow older, the term NIAT is such a common household classroom tutorial term that i think, we have ceased to understand its real meaning. sikit2 aje...niat...haha!sometimes it gets scary to think that, we all tend to use certain words so flippantly that the value of it all has ceased to make an impact on us. of course. we may argue that NIAT is important because what is on the surface is not what is actually intended. and of course, only God knows our real intentions to doing certain things because He is the Almighty, the All-Knowing. but *this is just an example* i do not believe that that notion of NIAT can be use as a REASON for us to use provocative publicity material. or you put on tattoos and attempt alcoholic drinks to try and enter the realm of mats and minahs in order *or so they say* to understand them and pull them into the PROPER way. "oh....niat kite untuk menonjolkan keadaan yang sebenarnye"....yah but....i think there are other possible ways. i kind of agree with a forum article a week ago...when the writer proposes that ART SHOULD NOT GO TO THE EXTEND OF MENGHALALKAN SESUATU YANG HARAM. if many art activists want to portray this notion 'that EVERY HUMAN BEING IS EMPTY'... would we expect to see pictures and theatrical pieces of men and women walking and lying around naked? i want to admit that my religious knowledge is limited. and that i am in no way SO qualified to make such comments. but i think, there are basic things that we know and understand about being Malay/Muslim. and some requires us to be more...sopan. Insya'Allah. God-willing. it is a promise that you will attempt to the best of your ability to get to get it accomplished. but sometimes, we use it 'wrongly'. more of, if God allows me to go, so I am fated to go and so i will go. we no longer TRY our hardest but instead wait for some innate force to push us to doing things. this is another one.
Kau tak percaya pada takdir ke? Dah nak jadi macam tu...terima ajelah. Well, of course,we must PERCAYA kepada Qadak and Qadar. tetapi janganlah kita selalu menjadikannya sebagai alasan bahawa Orang Melayu tak boleh maju sebab *kononnya* dengan semula-jadi kita lembap dan bodoh dan pemalas. some people claim... because God makes orang Melayu that way. i beg to differ. or this other phrase.. "ni semuer mesti ade Hikmahnye". of course. there will always be goodness in the hardship that we all go through. but i think, in expecting the Hikmah, we must learn to DOA (to ask from God) and also to BERUSAHA (to attempt hard enough to change the bad circumstances). sometimes, i feel contempt to observe that it is my OWN people who is constantly branding our OWN community. let us not use the SACRED words of Islam as excuses for not being progressive. just my humble point of view. correct me if i am wrong. because i am as human as you are. and all humans make mistakes. *see. here is another one that is so commonly used. to ERR is human. would we use this quote so flippantly that we do not work hard to strive to make ourselves better?? in values and practice?* sighz.
