today is already thursday and i am still stuck at my war poems. war poetry always moves me deeply. when i was younger, i used to like to imagine myself to be married to a soldier. i like the discipline. i like the ruggedness. and most of all, if there is a war, i would like my husband to fight for his country. i do not mind parting with him simply because i know that a good man should defend his homeland. maybe i am influenced by my dad, who received his 25 years Long Service Award yesterday. So proud of him. yesterday when he showed us all his medals, kalah War Veteran. haha! i remembered the time when he went to East Timor. that was one of the scariest times in my life. civil war. working with the East Timor natives who are actively fighting for their independence. and at the same time, fighting amongst themselves. and here in Singapore...we are concerned with... whether 7% GST is worth us voting for the PAP. a soldier. i like the army. despite its regimental way of bringing up young fine men. i like listening to my dad...he telling me stories. and i like to see him in uniform. and the pride he has in it. the experience he gains. the national pride he fosters. my future husband a man in uniform? maybe. insya'Allah. if that type of man is the right one for me. but one thing i know so well is that I love my country. and i cant bear the idea of a man..."who cant wait to get out of Singapore". what the hell. what kind of a man are you. seeking business ventures for your own self-worth? you are nothing without your fellow compatriots, mind you. anyway, 'castles in the air' aside.
i just had macdonalds bfast with the lbry gang. there was...lin, fadz, nad, naz, muk, wan, md noor, dayah. haha! gosh. i think today is the 'go-against-Maly' day or something. and also...i think there is something wrong with me myself. the weird things i did at the table. sighz. please sikit eh, pple. the things i did at the table were totally UNINTENTIONAL. i would call them...LOOSE MUSCLES. haha! anyway, it is really good eating bfast with you guys again. and i think now LIN and DAYAH can sense the CRAZINESS. but it was good fun. the kind of fun that I can cry for when i graduate. it feels good to be together again in the midst of exams. and of course. i SEE and FEEL the love. whats with the comments seH! at least, the feeling of "at least i'm not forgotten" exists. and for that, i heaved a sigh of relief. the only thing that is keeping me sane in school are you guys. and insya'Allah...if you guys need anything from me, i'll be there for you guys yah. i mean, i don't RULE WITH LOVE, for nothing. haha! sementara korang happy2 tu....korang doa2kan lah aku dapat suami yang soleh dan penyayang dan boleh tahan dengan aku punye 'tak-senonoh-ness coupled with keayuan'. haha! *and here maly says...AMIN.........!*alright. dun always read my blog. baca notes tu jugak. if my blog is an examinable module, sure korang pass. with A-star grade. sebab...not much substance. banyak berangan aje. HAHAHAHA! yeah right. okok. i am now talking to myself at YIH. which shouldnt be the case. I shall now to back to indulge myself with the Romantics. jangan nakal2. aku sayang kat korang. haha! all the best for the exams. *gosh. i just realised. this entry seems to be "A Tribute to the Lbry Gang".* haha! rotfl.
