i have...seriously seriously tonnes of readings to do. presentations every other week. books to finish. i have not even finished reading KING LEAR to the end and next week we are moving on to Anthony & Cleopatra. haha! i need to learn speed reading man. I cant be seen logging all my books from one end of NUS to the other end ALL the time, trying to finish reading on bus rides.i want to say this. that... COMPARISONS can be such a bane. people make comparisons ALL the time. when aren't we like them last time? why can't we meet up even to their standards? why this why that? while i agree that comparisons are fundamental to making sure that standards are maintained or improved, it is also crucial to note that COMPARISONS make us individuals who are always against imperfection and vocaciously hungry for success. and unaccepting to failure. lets look at who we are working with now. lets look at who you were working with then. you can't expect all teams to be as successful as then. or so it seems.human beings & their insatiable desires.of course the twice above paragraph may be deemed to be an EXCUSE for slacking. but trust me. of course i am not a fool. What i want to put across is this...that WE take each occurrence as an occurrence ON ITS OWN.no idea what i am talking about? haha! be in my shoes.Labels: in my shoes
