i was surfing through IVLE and was looking through my lists of lit texts that i have to purchase...wah.. banyak seh... overwhelming ah! read and read and read again. well. what to do. I do not want my future students to fail their O-Levels. can u imagine.... haha! i mean yeah... of course i wud want to do crazy stuffs with my students. like...reading in the park. with a mat laid down on the floor and my students will bring along their favourite snacks and all. or...if we are doing shakespeare, it'll be good to try and get them to dress up in those times. bring them to plays. tell them to write songs. and raps. and write love poems on valentine's day. and then we will have food poetry bash! where we will make fun recipe poems! haha! ok. i am crazy. but i would like my students to love words. and recognize that words are powerful. and i hope...by that time, the ministry would abolish the o-levels. it is so sad ... to have to read books... just for exams. i am just excited to be in the classrooms once again!
