it is about two days more before school starts. *do you know that nowadays i have to reread my blog entries a few times before posting them because i realize that my sentence structures are so unbearably non-sensical* anyway...i have Saturday...Sunday and a quarter of Friday left before the World announces that It is THE start of the school semester. and on Monday...u noe what? I have to begin the term with TWO lectures. and i glamorously end my DAY at SIX pm. What a dump. *oh! by the way, this is a catch-line i got from one of my lit texts in JC. the woman was impersonating some other woman by saying "oh! what a dump!"* haha! sighz. anyway, much of my last days enjoying the so-called holidays are spent by waking up early in the morning at 6am. simply because both my bros are schooling in the morning and they make a din in the kitchen. then after subuh, i get ready to go to the stadium. do whatever runs i could. sometimes i climb the stairs if i am too lazy to get to the stadium. but these workouts are at times...being overpowered by my love for eating. *rotfl* and then...reach home... wash up...and guess what i watch? the TYRA BANKS show. I kinda like it! i like her ENERGY on stage. and today's episode was good lah. she gets NICOLE RICHIE to reveal her life. gosh. I pity NICOLE RICHIE. the CONSTANT and FREQUENT attention and pervasion by the PAPPARAZZI was totally UNNECESSARY. everywhere she goes, cameras are sticking right up to her nose. sad right? i mean...to live a life where you feel like you are a prisoner even in your own house?u are being watched. even in the 'safety' of your own bedroom. i think SURIA channel LACK substance. there are really no shows that i think is good. almost all the dramas are IMPORTED. and yeah i KNOW they are good dramas like indo's HIKMAH and malaysia's DALAM HATI ADA CINTA...but still. where are our local FACES or STARS?and MEDIA plays a very important role to educate our masses. our malay muslim community. but if all that you are showing are sappy soapy malay dramas, and weekly sessions of DETIK and AKHIR KATA (these two shows are attractive only to a certain audience group)...how do u expect our community to mature? in terms of learning to prioritize facts of life? a talk show would be good. not the Najip Ali or the giler2 kind. but more of the Oprah Winfrey kind. you dont target only the people dealing with the ENTERTAINMENT industry. but also sportsmen. artists/painters. businessmen. housing agents. now...that is interesting. u uncover the lives of MPs. how they live their lives day in day out. how about teachers who teach in SPECIAL schools? and GAME shows. channel five is having THE ARENA! how cool is that? and SURIA? do we have any shows that can 'tingkatkan pengetahuan'? almost none. i feel sad.oh well. so if there are pple who have contacts with SURIA and are reading my blog, maybe you can help by voicing out my grievances to the relevant authorities. because, trust me. you will do the community a great deal of justice by giving them quality tv programmes.
