let me share with you guys what i did yesterday. actually i have a lot of things to blog about. but for now, i will suffice my entry with pictures. it was a day after exams. so i kinda forced my parents to bring us out. and yeah. this entry is gonna be full of wishes. hopeless romanticism.



I wish that Geylang Serai will always be around.
i wish that the melayu-ness will prevail. semangat serumpun. sane-sini nampak melayu. senyuman dikuntum. salam diberi. dakapan dibalas.
i wish that the government would not disperse us too soon. it seems like it though. yes. it may look like they are giving geylang a cleaner look... but... with all the old and original people being relocated to eunos and other parts of singapore... what makes you think we can ever get Geylang back?



I wish that i am always near the sea. have you ever wondered why we always seek for waterfalls, springs, rainfalls, seas...i think it is because we were once blanketed by the water element ourselves...in the safe haven of our mother's womb.
i wish that i always have the liberty to take walks by the beach. sit at the edge of cliffs. let the waters brush against my feet, pulling with it the specks of sadness that ever existed.
sometimes in life... we really need to get back to where we belong. that is why Nature is always so close to us.



it was my first time at SIMPANG BEDOK ah! *note the change in tone from previous snippets!* because the food was simply wonderful. and goodness! actually when i reached the bus stop, i was like.. so quiet. where in the world is the hip-happening simpang bedok people always talk about. lo and behold. it was like a MALAY HIDE-OUT ah! sandwiched. macam kampung. so totally melayu. and we were sitting beside these three-men table. they were discussing how to get married. calculating finances and stuff. haha! so ini dia... kampung simpang bedok and its people. not to mention. i think it is a good place to watch soccer. *random statement*



yes. i cant wait for my holidays to start. actually it has just started. but haha! my tasklist is growing. geometrically.
