TREMENDOUSLY HAPPY...BUT.|Friday, May 25, 2007
i need to make this quick. because i want to sleep. because i am tired. and because results are released tomr early in the morn. sigh. because...tomr's results are determinant of many many things to come. many many decisions. many many hopes. why dont i just go to sleep and allow Time to take me nearer to dawn?because i want to tell you guys that i have received one of the best pre-21st birthday present. and it is not only the fact that it makes me so so happy. it is for the fact that...i think dealing with students, touching their lives in the most minute of ways possible...is the way i want to spend the rest of my life doing...13/100 ----> 29/100 (Primary 6 Foundation)15/100 ----> 28/100 (Primary 6 Foundation)4/100 ----> 15/100 (Primary 6 Foundation)32/100 ----> 39/100 (Primary 6 Foundation)13/100 ----> 49/100 (Sec 1 Normal Tech)so far, from what i heard, my tuition kids improved. u cant imagine how happy and thankful i was for them when i heard these results. i felt so so thankful. that if i wasnt careful, i wud have teared ah! but yeah. i was in public transport...so i kinda control myself. :) especially my normal tech student. i feel so so happy for him. and he got 2nd in class. i do not think that it is because i teach them. because if you ask me, i think i cant teach that well yet u noe. i fumble upon my words in class.i make silly mistakes. i make silly faces when my kids make horrendously careless calculations. i stare by making my eyes big at boys' who make UNNECESSARY comments in class, that they stop doing so not because they are scared of me but more of giggling and laughing as i think i look funny trying hard not to laugh. i am happy because...They are happy with their improvements. They are more confident. i didnt do much.but one thing i am very affirmative about... is that...I think God answer the prayers that i speak for them every time before i start lessons. hey...a shout-out to every single teacher or teacher-to-be out there...Do pray for your students...Pray that each and every little thing they learn, will make them a person slightly nearer to God...Insya'Allah...they will not only be studying. They will be learning. finally.now...it is my turn tomr. and sigh. i am as jittery as every single time before.hey NUS yr two peeps. i pray that we will all be happy. insya'Allah...Labels: Exams. jitters.
