They challenged Time and they defied Time.
They seized Time, while It stood there, unaware.

The wind brushed against their faces.
The rain touched lightly upon their skins.
They sat on the soft sand and ate good breakfast.
No one knew where they were except for strangers.
They were in a world of strangers, and they only knew themselves.

She looked at him and she thought she saw HER knowing smile on his face.
He looked at her and he thought he saw HIS gazing eyes looking back at him.
They were nearly reflections.
And that was perfect.
Away from the world, away from those who prayed for misery.
Time was with them and somewhere else.
They were in our own world.

Where there are no lies and deception.
Where there exist no shadows and secrets.
She has no secrets and so does he.
With each other, they are like new-born babies.
And they are each other’s secrets.
Time was with them and somewhere else.
And she never regretted each moment.
Because during each moment,

Her anguish with life, her shattered dreams…
More importantly, he understood each and every word she said.
Her abstract dreams. Her innate desires. Her nonsensical musings.
But most importantly, he understood each and every word she said.
Those words which were unspoken.
